Dr. Drew Drinking Zevia

Dr. Drew Pinksy is a practicing medical doctor. He also hosts the nationally syndicated Loveline radio program, and stars in the MTV show Sex…With Mom and Dad, and on VH1’s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew – a reality show where Dr. Drew helps drug and alcohol addicted celebrities achieve sobriety. This year, Dr. Drew premiered Sober House, a Celebrity Rehab spinoff.

Dr. Drew is a huge fan of ZEVIA®. He talks about it on the radio during the Loveline show, and he requested Zevia® on the Craft Services catering truck for Sober House tapings. The catering manager told us that on Sober House they drink only water and ZEVIA®

This weekend, ZEVIA® was the official soft drink of the Brotherton Family Funfest. Brad Brotherton — the owner of Brotherton Cadillac in Renton, Washington — is on the board of The Moyer Foundation, which raises funds for early cancer-detection research. On Saturday, Brad’s team moved all of the cars off the massive lot to make room for rides, a huge climbing wall, skateboard ramps, a dunk tank, bouncy tents, and lots of fantastic food. Hundreds of people came out with their families in the gorgeous 85 degree weather. We are proud to have been a sponsor of this great event that not only raised money for cancer research, but also provided for a lively one-day fair full of smiles, fun, and parents and kids alike loving ZEVIA® in the sunshine.

At Zevia, we receive many emails every day from customers. Many provide feedback about how delicious ZEVIA® is, some ask questions about our ingredients, and others ask where ZEVIA® is available. We answer every email personally, and we are grateful that you’re reaching out to us.

One of my favorite emails this week comes from Melissa, with the photo above attached. The subject line reads: “I’M A FACE PAINTER & LOVE YOUR SODA.” The text of the message is: “LOOK AT WHAT I PAINTED ON MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!”.

ZEVIA on Parade!

Saturday was a very exciting one for ZEVIA as we once again participated in Mercer Island’s Summer Celebration Parade.  On Seattle’s sunny summer days, there is nothing like a parade, sunshine and ice cold ZEVIA.  In three blocks, we gave away 1800 cans of all of our flavors to the delight of all the families enjoying the parade.  One of the best parts was having some of our biggest and youngest ZEVIA fans part of our parade brigade – Big Thanks to Anya, Sophia, Flora, Bailey, Jacob, Eli, Luke, Cameron, Kendall, Duke, Chaz, Anderson, Ava and Davis, our ZEVIA kids!  All Natural, Zero Calories, and even more delicious chilled and enjoyed on parade!

This past weekend, the Fourth of July holiday, was full of fun back yard BBQs, festive parties, and community parades. We’re thrilled that lots of you enjoyed cool refreshing ZEVIA in the summer sun.
